What is your favorite part about working at LA?
Working with the kids whether it is cheerleaders, seniors, or riding the bus home from away games!! I think it is such a privilege to be a part of their lives. I love it when they go away and come back to visit and let us know how successful they have been and how they love what they're doing.
What is something that most people may not know about you?
I went to 9 schools in 12 years. I attended 3 different high schools. I wound up graduating with the people I started kindergarten with! My dad was a computer salesman and we moved a lot. I think it helps me with my admissions job. I understand the apprehension that students have about being "the new kid." Most people don't realize that lunch, break, and recess are the scariest part of the day for some kids. They have to find someone to sit with or talk to. I feel for the new students and try to talk to them and make them feel welcome.
