K5
On November 18, K5 and K4 classes celabrated Thankgiving with a Pow Wow. Parents visited the school and watched the students presentations. K5 students were dressed as Navajo Indians. After the presentation, the classes enjoyed a feast of Turkey, venicon, corn on the cob, hush puppies, and nuggets. The K5 class had an awesome time at the
Pow Wow.
On Monday, October 24, K5 experienced their first field trip of the school year. A bus packed full of very excited K4 and K5 students headed for Stewart Farms for a morning filled with hay rides, a lesson on pumpkins, and of course picking individual pumpkins for each student.
