Letter to LA Athletes/Parents for 2010/2011
Athletes and Parents,
I hope you are enjoying your summer.
First, let me make you aware of the date for physicals. Dr. Paul Moore will be here at the school on Wednesday, July 28th. We ask for Middle school athletes to be here at 6:00 and Varsity at 7:00. The cost is $20. Please make checks out to LA. Please email me if you plan to be here. Dr. Moore needs an approx. number so that he knows to bring extra help. Email me by Friday, July 23rd.
Varsity Football and all volleyball players be on the lookout for letters from Coach Dees and Coach Kirk with details on the upcoming season.
VERY IMPORTANT:
Our Parents' Meeting will be held on Sunday night, August 1st at 8 PM in the gym. It is imperative that each child is represented at the meeting. We will discuss our normal info such as participation fees, work schedules, signed forms, etc. However, our booster club is doing something different this year regarding the ordering of booster club items. It will be impossible to catch you up on all of this if you are not there. Also, each coach will be meeting with parents about specific rules/ expectations. Please plan to attend!
My MS football team will begin practice on August 16th, which is the first day of school. Each player needs to have black cleats and a physical by that date. We will cover much more at the parent meeting.
Finally, our 2nd annual Booster Club golf tournament will be held on Tuesday morning, September 28th at Lakeside CC. Please let me know if you can help in any way. All details will be given at parent meeting and put on website.
Thanks for all you do! Feel free to contact me with questions or concerns.
Coach Ryan Molony Athletic Director (864) 682-2324 (803) 480-1692
